The Karo is one of the greatest tribes found in Africa. It was almost midday and photographic conditions was extremely tough as the light was seriously harsh. I approached this individual warrior on the banks of Ethiopia’s Omo River and focused as closely as possible on his eyes. He had the most amazing eyes I have ever seen on a human and reminded me of a predator staring intensely at his prey.
